After a day of driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, this little gem of a restaurant was a wonderful cap to a fun day. Lupe was very attentive, the lime margarita was exactly how I like it - lots of lime, a little sour, and not sweet. I got the shrimp chimichanga and it was very tasty! Others in my party got the chicken and steak fajitas and the pork carnitas and two of our three plates were clean and the leftovers coming back are minimal! Highly recommend if you're in the Waynesboro area.

Outstanding service and food from El Puerto on May 7! They fixed 120 beef and chicken tacos with all the fixings for a Teacher Appreciation event in Waynesboro. The food was piping hot and ready to load in my car when I got there. Everything was fresh and teachers stated everything they ate was delicious. The food looked and smelled so good, we circled back and ate lunch there ourselves. 1.25 tacos on Wednesdays! We look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you so much!

April 13, 2024 - Tired of unpacking & surrounded by moving boxes. . . My wife & I took a break and tried El Puerto Mexican Grill . We enjoyed our experience, and returned again with family members! The Aguirre family from Santa Catarina, Mexico established this Mexican restaurant in Waynesboro, VA ( 1999). El Puerto ( the door) checked a lot of boxes for us: * Festive ambience * Good service * Many Flavor Margaritas ( Black Raspberry) * Food was good, hot, and quick * Prices reasonable I usually go with the fajitas, chicken, steak, shrimp combo with peppers & onions which did arrive on a sizzling hot plate! Delicious My wife starts with a sangria, which she liked. Then orders fish tacos or Salmon entree. Her meal arrived shortly after mine. Over all, we definitely will return . Oh, the pre- meal salsa & chips were hot fresh tortilla chips!

My wife and I just moved here from Tampa, and found this little gem. Classic mexican restaurant. Queso is a must, perfect consistency. Muy bien! Fajitas were great too! Sry no pic.
